The Electricity price widget draws the day-ahead price per hour for 22 European bidding zones (Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain and more). The current hour is marked, the three cheapest hours are green and the most expensive red, so staff and visitors see at a glance when to charge, wash or run machines. Data comes from Energy-Charts by Fraunhofer ISE under the CC BY 4.0 licence, so there is nothing to sign up for.

How to add the Electricity price widget
- 1Open a screen or layout in the console and click Add.
- 2Choose Electricity price from the widget list and drag it onto the canvas.
- 3Fill in the settings in the inspector, pick a design and press Publish — the screen updates within a second.
Frequently asked questions
Is the price the one on my energy bill?
The source is the wholesale day-ahead market. Enter your supplier's surcharge (energy tax, margin) and VAT percentage in the panel and the widget shows the all-in price per kWh.
When does tomorrow's price appear?
Day-ahead prices are published around 13:00 CET. The widget adds tomorrow's hours from 16:00 onwards when you enable "show tomorrow".
