Install the player
Install the free PlainSignage APK on an Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV Stick or Android tablet — or open console.plainsignage.com/play in any browser. A 6-character pairing code appears on the screen.

Pair the screen
In the console, click Add screen and type the code. The device is now yours: it reports its model, resolution and orientation, and the editor previews at exactly that aspect ratio.

Design
Start from a template or a blank canvas. Drag widgets — menu, clock, weather, news, YouTube, Google Sheet — set brand colours and fonts, and add slides to a playlist.

Publish
Press Publish and every paired screen updates within a second over a live connection. Offline devices catch up the moment they reconnect.

Schedule & run
Schedule playlists by day and time, run campaigns with start and end dates, set screen hours so displays sleep at night, and watch fleet health from your phone.

Grow
Add a screen for €4.99 per month whenever you need one; remove it when you don't. Groups, synced walls and the API scale with you.

Behind the scenes

Players connect outbound over TLS to the PlainSignage hub in the EU; nothing listens on your network.
Content is cached on the device — a menu keeps showing when the Wi‑Fi drops.
Live widgets fetch their data through PlainSignage's proxies with caching, so ten screens do not make ten thousand requests.
