How to add the Solar yield widget
- 1Open a screen or layout in the console and click Add.
- 2Choose Solar yield from the widget list and drag it onto the canvas.
- 3Fill in the settings in the inspector, pick a design and press Publish — the screen updates within a second.
Frequently asked questions
My inverter isn't SolarEdge — can I still use it?
Yes: choose the JSON source, enter the URL of your inverter's or portal's JSON endpoint and the paths of the current power (W) and today's energy (Wh) fields.
Is my API key safe?
The key is stored in your account content and used only by PlainSignage's server proxy to fetch the numbers, with a 5-minute cache.
