For the Bible the widget uses public-domain translations matched to your screen language: King James Version, Statenvertaling, Luther 1545, Louis Segond 1910 and Reina-Valera 1909, with more to pick from. For the Quran it shows the Arabic text with the Pickthall translation. Card, minimal and banner designs with the reference and translation name.

How to add the Verse of the day widget
- 1Open a screen or layout in the console and click Add.
- 2Choose Verse of the day from the widget list and drag it onto the canvas.
- 3Fill in the settings in the inspector, pick a design and press Publish — the screen updates within a second.

Can I use a modern translation?
Modern translations are copyrighted, so PlainSignage ships public-domain ones only. You can pick any translation of your language from the list.
Can I choose the verse myself?
Use a Text element for a fixed verse. The Verse of the day widget rotates through its curated list automatically.
